Yoga is more than just exercise - it's a total mind-body transformation.
On a physical level, one's focus is to improve/ maintain good health with organs, muscles, nerves and inevitably the entire anatomy.
On a mental and emotional level, one's focus is to find total liberation. This includes freedom from insecurities, limited beliefs, unhealthy habits etc.
A state of continuous fulfilment, bliss and peace is experienced by many who consistently attend these Yoga classes.
There is no competition in Yoga. You go at your own pace and capability in a safe and judgement free environment. You will surely improve with commitment.
Yoga is a spiritual science. It is important to understand that Yoga is not a religion, and at Parama Lifestyle- Yoga is not practiced as a discipline but rather as a self-exploration.
The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘yuj’, meaning to join, referring to the union of mind, body and spirit. Once this is achieved, one can reach a state of Samadhi (state of blissfulness whereby one interprets reality with a clear perspective).
There are many types of yoga nowadays, many of which are commercialised and do not tap into the true essence, benefits and most importantly-experience of Yoga.
